Reunion was born out of Brad's own experiences. His story in his own words:
More through grit than brilliance, I built multiple successful companies over my career. Attempting to prove self-worthiness, I had a drive to succeed, sacrificing much in the pursuit of “achievement.”
Somewhat unexpectedly, I had the opportunity to experience Ayahuasca. A transformative shift occurred in my view of life, of business, and most profoundly of myself. Plant medicine has led me along an incredible, challenging, and yet rewarding path. I have learned that to live more authentically sometimes one must make decisions that will hurt your heart to heal your soul. My experience with plant medicine provided the opportunity for me to accept my identity as a gay man, something I have known for as long as I can remember but buried deeply. For me, to live more authentically, I decided to come out. My life has changed dramatically since. I sold my company, together with my wife concluded our 25-year marriage, and established Reunion as a not-for-profit plant medicine retreat center in Costa Rica.
Establishing Reunion enabled me to leverage learning from my business career without the focus on profit and has provided me with great purpose and meaning. Reunion is here to offer those seeking personal growth, self-acceptance, and healing the opportunities and experiences to create positive change in themselves and therefore create positive change in the world. All are welcome here at Reunion, a place to ignite life. :)
